The title of this reviews sums that up pretty well. The finish is very nice, the cushions are comfortable and feel very durable, and the chair doesn't wobble or creak at all.Unless you have very strong forearms, you will need a power screwdriver and maybe a drill & bit for installing the side rails that go between the front & back legs. Just for 4 screws. The rest of the chair is put together with bolts that require the allen wrench provided with the chairs. It took me about 10 minutes per chair to assemble. I would also note that in the picture the back of the chair looks like it is only about a rung and a half taller than the table; that must be an unusually high table. The back of these chairs are just as the product description says: 40 inches, whereas most tables are about 29-30 inches high. Read more Nice chairs, seats can be removed, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Set of 2 Dining Chairs with Ladder Back Dark Oak Finish Although I personally am not a fan of black leather with wood, we bought the the table that matches these chairs so I wanted to make sure the wood finish matched. I couldn't tell from the picture whether I would be able to remove the seats but was very happy to find out that they can be removed so I can cover in fabric (it looks like they are secured by two screws). The chairs are comfy and sturdy and the finish matches the picture exactly. I was really worried about ordering a table and chairs online, but it worked out wonderfully and I saved a lot of money over going to a store. The chairs do take about 10 minutes each to assemble, but it is easy with a drill/driver. |
